Sony VAIO FZ Series Review

Introduction

The 5.8 pound, 15.4 inch Sony VAIO FZ Series laptop is one of the thinnest and lightest laptop systems you can buy in this class. But this laptop differs from all other systems under $2,000 by packing in a Blu-ray drive and a very crisp, bright screen. The battery life could be better, but you probably won’t find a more powerful mainstream laptop for the money.

The Design

Sony have created a work of art with the VAIO FZ By using a magnesium alloy lid and base, reshaping the battery, and redesigning the layout of the motherboard, they have created one of the most sleekest Vista powered notebook. The silver and black color scheme makes the FZ look sophisticated, and the media controls arranged in a small circle above the keyboard is useful. The keyboard itself looks a bit flat but deliveres good feedback.

The Display

The 1280 x 800-pixel screen on the VAIO FZ delivers great color saturation and high brightness, perfect for movies and games. The level of detail and contrast while watching a Blu-ray is mind boggling. The internal speakers was also impressive.

Just How Green Is The Sony VAIO FZ Series

The VAIO FZ laptops are designed to reduce the impact on the environment. The entire laptop is made from recyclable components and does not include any hazardous materials. The computers are shipped to customers in recyclable packaging…

Verdict

The environmentally friendly VAIO FZ laptops is a relative bargin compared with its competitors, it is very reliable, and it is a laptop worth showing off to your mates so there is nothing to lose and a lot to gain.
